Shoplinks lands spot in Google Accelerator first cohort for South East Asia

Shoplinks is among the 3 Singapore-based startups selected among 600+ applicants of the first Google Accelerator for South East Asia.

Shoplinks, a company that helps digitize retail and personalize shopper engagement through technology and machine learning for the FMCG industry, has landed a spot in Google Accelerator SEA among 600+ applicants.

Other Singapore startups include SenzeHub, offering a wearable AI-powered device that determines a patient's location and does vitals reading and crisis detection, and Smartfuture, a telemedicine platform and self-monitoring diagnostic kiosk that allows users to check key health vitals.

"Retail is drastically changing and digitization has become even more urgent. In many countries, retail footfall has declined in high double digits due to the pandemic. Shoplinks aims to address this by providing our clients digital solutions like eCommerce and omnichannel promotion personalization, fully catered for the FMCG industry", says Teresa Condicion, founder and CEO.

Condicion was CEO of Snapcart prior to founding Shoplinks, and was head of P&G consumer and retail analytics in P&G where she worked for 17 years prior to that.

"Our company leverages Google's technology--from cloud storage and computing to artificial intelligence, so we are very excited to be part of this cohort. Moreover, Google is a company I truly respect in terms of leadership and organization capabilities, and we're looking forward to learning from them," added Condicion.

Shoplinks serves enterprise FMCG brands and retailers including Procter & Gamble and 7-Eleven in Philippines and Indonesia, with plans to expand across South East Asia.
